Discover Your Roots in Italy – AGM Youth Program 2026
XXVI Edition – “Alla Scoperta delle Proprie Radici”
The Associazione Giuliani nel Mondo, in partnership with the Club Giuliano Dalmato of Toronto, is pleased to invite applications for the 2026 Youth Heritage Program in Italy.
This unique cultural experience is designed for young adults of Giulian, Istrian, Fiuman, and Dalmatian heritage who are interested in reconnecting with their family roots, culture, language, and traditions while visiting the region their ancestors once called home. 
Tentative Program Dates
September 21–27, 2026
Participants will have the opportunity to:
* Visit Trieste and surrounding areas
* Participate in cultural excursions and heritage activities
* Meet other young people from AGM clubs around the world
* Deepen their connection to Italian heritage and identity
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
* Be between 18 and 35 years of age
* Be of Giulian, Istrian, Fiuman, or Dalmatian descent
* Be a member of the Club Giuliano Dalmato of Toronto
* Have at least a basic knowledge of the Italian language
* Hold a valid passport for travel
* Not have previously participated in an AGM youth stay program in Italy 
Preference may be given to applicants who have never visited Italy or who have been away for an extended period of time. 
Program Coverage
The Association will cover:
* Accommodations
* Organized excursions and transfers
* Program activities
* Medical and accident insurance
* A portion (70% or more) of round-trip airfare costs, depending on overall program participation and airfare pricing 
Application Process
All interested applicants must complete the official Google Form application by May 31, 2026.
Applications will be reviewed by the Executive Committee of the Club Giuliano Dalmato of Toronto. Final candidates will be selected based on eligibility requirements, program criteria, and overall suitability for participation.
Submission of an application does not guarantee selection into the program.
Applicants may also be required to provide supporting documentation, including a copy of the passport that will be used for travel.
