The Associazione Giuliani nel Mondo, in partnership with the Club Giuliano Dalmato of Toronto, is pleased to invite applications for the 2026 Seniors Heritage Program in Italy.

This meaningful cultural and heritage experience is designed for seniors of Giulian, Istrian, Fiuman, and Dalmatian origin who wish to reconnect with the towns, cities, and regions connected to their family history and personal roots.
Tentative Program Dates
September 21–27, 2026

Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Return to their places of origin and family heritage
- Visit Trieste and surrounding areas
- Participate in organized cultural visits and excursions
- Connect with fellow members of the Giulian-Dalmato community from around the world

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be 65 years of age or older
- Be of Giulian, Istrian, Fiuman, or Dalmatian origin
- Be a member of the Club Giuliano Dalmato of Toronto and an active participant in club activities
- Not have previously participated in similar AGM or Regione FVG-funded programs
- Not have returned to their place of origin for at least 10 years
- Hold a valid passport for travel to Italy

Preference may be given to applicants who have been away from Italy and their places of origin for the longest period of time, with priority given to those who have never returned.

Program Coverage
The Association will cover:
- Accommodations
- Organized excursions and transfers
- Program activities
- A portion (70% or more) of round-trip airfare costs, depending on airfare pricing and overall participation levels

Please Note
The following expenses are not covered:
- Transportation to and from departure airports
- Meals, except during organized visits and excursions
- Medical and accident insurance
- Personal expenses not specifically included in the program

Application Process
All interested applicants must complete the official Google Form application by May 31, 2026.

Applications will be reviewed by the Executive Committee of the Club Giuliano Dalmato of Toronto. Final candidates will be selected based on eligibility requirements, program criteria, and overall suitability for participation.

Submission of an application does not guarantee selection into the program.

Applicants may also be required to provide supporting documentation, including a copy of the passport that will be used for travel.
